External Works Progressing

We’re pleased to report that many of the external works at The Lakes are now complete. These have included improvements to the grounds, lighting and signage, extensive roof repairs, external CCTV cameras and energy-efficient window replacements.
Additional window replacement work is ongoing at the Kendal Suite but, elsewhere, contractors are finishing up and scaffolding is being dismantled in stages.
The work is all part of a £1.5 million investment to return the recently reacquired care home to its former status. The following photographs show some of the progress we’ve been making across the site.
